About Me
I earned my undergraduate degree from Portland State University and am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work through the University of Kentucky’s online program. For over twelve years, I have worked in professional, client-facing roles supporting individuals and teams through high-stress environments, complex systems, and periods of transition. While my background is not traditionally clinical, I have consistently served in support-oriented roles—helping others feel heard, grounded, and more capable during uncertainty. These experiences, along with a strong interest in relational care and the mind-body connection, led me to pursue clinical social work.
My Approach
My approach is relational and person-centered, grounded in the belief that effective support is both compassionate and honest. I value building a collaborative therapeutic relationship and am especially interested in how emotional, relational, and environmental factors intersect during times of change. I aim to create a supportive, steady space where clients can reflect, gain insight, and move forward with intention.
Why Someone Might Work With Me
As a practicum student, I bring a strong commitment to consistency, presence, and thoughtful care. I remain calm in emotionally charged or uncertain situations and am comfortable engaging in meaningful, sometimes challenging conversations. My style is active and engaged, balancing warmth with accountability to support clients in building self-trust, resilience, and independence.
