Meet Zaria

About Me

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Mercy University and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work through the University of Kentucky’s online program.

I bring nearly a decade of experience working with children, teens, adolescents, and individuals with special needs. My passion lies in creating a supportive, inclusive, and empowering space for clients as they navigate life’s challenges and build resilience. I believe in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them with empathy, compassion, and respect.

My Approach

My approach in therapy is holistic and person-centered, focusing on the whole individual rather than just the presenting problem. I use a variety of evidence-based and strengths-based techniques, including mindfulness strategies, grounding exercises, and wellness-focused techniques. I also incorporate creative tools and coping strategies to help clients regulate emotions, build confidence, and develop healthier thought patterns. Above all, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered in their journey..

Why Someone Should Work With Me

As a young professional with extensive experience working with children and adolescents, I bring fresh energy, empathy, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges children and adolescents face. My approach is relatable, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based practices that support emotional growth and resilience. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to express themselves and build healthy coping skills. My experience allows me to connect authentically while guiding clients toward meaningful progress.
